Alexus Robertson Returns to CGEST as its Assistant Director of Operations

Alexus Robertson is delighted to have returned to the CGEST team after a seven-month absence to focus on her family. Previously, she served as Assistant to the Director working as Dr. Scott's executive support. Then she was promoted to Assistant Director of Administration due to her extensive business management and administrative experience.

Now, as Assistant Director of Operations, she continues her work to ensure that business operations run smoothly. This requires a heavy concentration on CGEST budget matters that include oversight of fiscal responsibilities within grant projects.

Alexus is excited to re-join a team who uses culturally responsive pedagogy to "teach the teacher" how best to approach and encourage young students to join and persist in the STEM fields. With a passion to make an impact on the current generation, she is excited to be a part of a mission, once again, to inspire underanticipated youth to explore STEM opportunities.
