Staff Spotlight: Elaine Arrieta (Bohn)

Elaine Arrieta-Bohn is CGEST's Education Outreach Specialist and has been in the position for almost a full year. She came on to the team mere weeks before our entire world was thrown upside down and everyone was sent into lockdown. Elaine has been critical in the CompuPower programming and taking the entire course online for our partnering schools. Over the summer last year Elaine helped in the professional development and onboarding of new Mentor Teachers for the CompuPower program in seven rural schools throughout Arizona. She continues to support the program by being the liaison between CGEST, our partner schools and The American Research Institute.

We asked Elaine to be our first Staff Spotlight interview and she was happy to share a little bit about her with all of you!

Not only is Elaine awesome at her job, but she's a wonderful spirit to have on Zoom calls and we are truly lucky to have her on board. It is truly a shame that we don't get to experience her fire and spirit in person and we all can't wait until we can get back into the office with this one!
