Can you pass the inspiration, please?

By Shivani Nandani

As the crisp air chills and festive lights twinkle to life, we enter the most joyous time of year – the holiday season! Thanksgiving brings its bountiful harvest and warm reunions, while Christmas paints the world in sparkling snow and twinkling lights, ushering in the spirit of giving. At CGEST, we embrace this season not just for its merriment but also for the opportunity to reflect on our values and how we can support the young girls who are the future of STEM.

Thanksgiving reminds us of the importance of gratitude and giving back. We are thankful for the tireless efforts of our dedicated mentors, volunteers, and supporters who empower young girls to reach for the stars in STEM. Their unwavering commitment ensures girls from all backgrounds can access the resources and guidance they need to thrive.

This season, we invite you to join us in giving thanks. Consider volunteering at a local STEM program, donating to scholarships supporting underrepresented girls in STEM, or simply sharing your success story to inspire the next generation. Every act of generosity, big or small, ripples outward and creates a brighter future for girls in STEM.

Christmas brings the magic of childhood, the joy of gift-giving, and the promise of new beginnings. For girls in STEM, it's a time to dream big and imagine the possibilities ahead!

As we gather with loved ones and revel in the spirit of the holidays, let us remember the values CGEST holds dear: equity, inclusion, and empowerment. By nurturing the dreams of young girls in STEM, we are not just celebrating a season but investing in a brighter future for all. May this holiday season be filled with laughter, warmth, and the unwavering belief that anything is possible for girls who dare to dream and explore the wonders of STEM.
