Scholarships Just for Women | Bold.org Bold.org has a sizable variety of scholarships for women in high school through graduate school. Many of these scholarships require essays but have a simple “one-click” application. Creating an account with Bold.org also helps you find more personalized opportunities.

This guide from NitroCollege.com also provides a variety of scholarships for women. Some of the listed scholarships are offered annually, so pay attention to deadlines for this year and next year. Certain scholarships require membership to particular groups; this would be a great opportunity for you to get involved in new communities! The guide also provides student loan information in the event the scholarships are not enough.


Finding scholarships for graduate students can be a bit more of a challenge, but this website specializes in scholarships for women pursuing graduate degrees. Many of these awards also provide funds for research projects.


Applying Tips

It can be hard to write essays for scholarships, but it’s important to keep in mind that being sincere and authentic is the best guide. Get to know yourself. What makes you unique? What are your interests, passions, challenges, and achievements?
